A day of celebrations for 20 years of community land ownership at Dun Coillich.
6.30am-9.30am: Join us for a dawn chorus walk with experienced ecologist and lifelong birder Aidan MacCormick. Learn about the birds on Dun Coillich, how to identify them by sight and call.
Why not stay for the afternoon and also book the Forest Manager’s guided walk?
11am-2pm: Join a guided walk led by our Forest Manager and native woodland expert Willie McGhee, who will guide you across the site, looking at the regenerating and planted woodland and how the site has changed over the last 20 years. Find this event in our listings to book separately.
This will be followed by a community picnic to round off the day!
