Exploring the Deeside landscape, this event will involve a walk with National Park staff up and around Craigendarroch hill, stopping at intervals to observe, discuss and sketch some of the special landscape qualities, ranging from broad mountain landforms to the details of trees, lichen and rocks.
This event is aimed at everybody, even if you don’t know one native plant or landform from another and haven’t drawn since school days. You do, however, need to be comfortable walking about 2 miles (3.2km), including up and down fairly steep slopes along a narrow, sometimes rough woodland path. All materials will be provided and yours to keep.
