
A guided walk to see the beauty of a bog up close!
Learn how to spot some of the weird and wonderful plants, bugs and other creatures that live in our blanket bogs with the Forestry and Land Scotland peatland team.
We will also learn about the important role our peatlands play in a changing climate, and why it’s important to protect and restore these unique habitats.

REQUIREMENTS | This walk will include off-track walking on boggy and uneven terrain over short distances (up to 2km). Good waterproof footwear with ankle support is essential, plus warm clothing that is wind and waterproof. Suitable for ages 10+. All children must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Capacity 15-20 |
