Hidden Wildlife

Wildlife is not always easy to see but there are ways that we can still find out what is in our local area. From moth traps to tracking and observation techniques we’ll explore ways to see what nature is around in the Lower Cabrach on the Cabrach Trust Discovery Trails.

LOCATION The Cabrach Trust Discovery Trails, Inverharroch Farm
REQUIREMENTS Please dress for the weather as we plan for this event to be entirely outside.

Family event. Aimed at 6+
TOILETS Toilets available at the Acorn Centre where we will start/finish or a short walk away during the event.
DISABLED ACCESS Disabled access parking – Not specific but space could be reserved if required. Access to site – No steps. Wheelchair/mobiliity scooter – The walk will be on a smooth path topped with whindust so suitable for wheelchairs and mobility scooters. The path is mainly flat with two short steeper sections where where weelchairs may require assistance. The track is about 1.5km long and we will be returning by the same route. Accessible toilets – Toilets are available at the beginning of the walk but they are not fully wheelchair accessible. There is a fully wheelchair accessible toilet a 2 minute drive away at the Dorenell Visitor Centre. The furthest we will be from toilets will be 1.5km. Assistance during event – Ranger led so the Ranger will be able to assist at times where necessary.
