Lichen identification workshop to focus on montane lichen ID
The lichens in the mountains are often distinctive and diverse, adding colour and texture to rocks and trees.
This workshop is for those who already know a bit about lichens but want to learn a few montane species they will encounter out ‘on the hill’. You need to be fit for hill-walking and kitted out properly, with layered clothes, sturdy shoes and waterproofs!
On the day of the event, please park in the village where possible, leaving space at the meeting place – the Youth Hostel – for those with access needs.
