A three mile ranger-led walk to Scalan Seminary and Clash of Scalan with a climb partway up Tom Trumper with great views over Glenlivet.
At this time of year there will be a good opportunity to see and hear moorland birds such as curlew and lapwing.
LOCATION | Carrachs Car Park, Chapeltown, Braes of Glenlivet |
REQUIREMENTS | The walk is over rough tracks in open country with the potential for changing weather. Please bring appropriate clothing. There are a few short steep sections and several stiles to be negotiated. Bring binoculars and camera if you have them. Children and families welcome but must be capable of walking 3 miles in an upland setting with some quite steep climbs. Capacity 15 |
