
Join Plantlife for a wild plant walk at Grantown’s majestic Anagach Woods and discover more about one of Scotland’s most delicate native wildflowers.
Take part in a hands-on conservation activity, taking action for Twinflower by collecting cuttings that will be grown on and reintroduced to aid population recovery.

REQUIREMENTS | A gentle walk along forest paths and tracks with some minor gradients, the route will be approximately 6 kilometres in length, leaving from the main Anagach Woods Car Park.
The activity will involve venturing slightly off the paths at times, so please do wear sturdy footwear and waterproofs and/or sunhat to suit the weather conditions. As the vegetation can be quite high off of the path, we also recommend wearing long trousers that can be tucked into boots. All equipment for the conservation activity will be provided by the Plantlife team and no prior experience or botanical knowledge is required. You are welcome to bring your own gardening gloves if you have, but please do ensure these are washed first to avoid contamination of any soils or composts. |
