We all know that fresh air is good for us but there is growing evidence that being outside, surrounded by nature, helps improve our health in many ways: it guards against health issues like type-2 diabetes, stroke and heart disease, it improves sleep, reduces stress, helps boost our mood and self-esteem and provides meaningful social contact.
So, whether it’s coming along to one of the many Health Walks in the Park, or dropping into a forest bathing session, there will be something for you! And if you can’t attend one of our events, why not do something for yourself - walk to work instead of taking the car, enjoy five minutes listening to the birds, eat your lunch outside. Whatever you do, any amount of time spent in nature, is time well spent! Further information on events and how to get involved can be found on the Think Health Think Nature website.
